Anchorage Wilderness Wildlife Glacier Experience for 2 on June 27, 2024

Get out of the city and deeper into the Alaskan wilderness than is typical on a sightseeing tour. This tour takes you to Chugach National Forest, Beluga Point, Portage Glacier, and more to spot brown bears, wolves, bison, and belugas. Enjoy live commentary and learn about the unique landscapes of Alaska from your expert guide. This is a half-day tour for two from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., June 27 (during the NOA convention). Transportation provided. 

• Begin at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, where you'll encounter brown bears, wolves, and bison, with photography lessons offered. Traverse the Chugach National Forest, a ring of glaciers surrounding a pristine lake, before heading to Beluga Point for a chance to spot beluga whales.
• Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center Guided Tour within conservation park to see brown bear, wolves and bison. Photography lessons offered. 1 hour
• Chugach National Forest Ring of Glaciers. A wonder of glaciers that surround a lake filled with pure glacial run off. As we return to Anchorage, live entertainment is offered. 50 minutes 
•  Beluga Point Scenic Viewpoint to Beluga whale watch Free photography lessons offered. 15 minutes
• Chugach State Park Bird Point and selective Viewpoints to photograph soaring eagles, mountain goats, whales or walk upon alpine meadows. Free photography lessons offered. 10 minutes 
• Our tour will view the Cook Inlet. We will discuss the history of the Inlet as well as, Captain Cook who the Cook Inlet is named from. 10 minutes
• Girdwood, Alaska will be featured during this tour. With a rich gold mining history, Girdwood, Alaska is a milestone during this trip. 10 minutes
